Relapse Prevention Program

Relapse Prevention Program

The Relapse Prevention Program (RPP) program was developed to meet the needs of clients who have successfully completed drug and/or alcohol treatment and would benefit from assistance designed to help them avoid relapse. The RPP helps to make sure that the client is establishing healthy patterns as part of their recovery. This program also helps some employers meet their need to provide appropriate programming for employees who are working in safety-sensitive areas. The RPP program offers two years of support for clients in a structured format.

Sessions begin weekly and gradually become less frequent as the client gains more abilities in their recovery. Each RPP client will be recommended to sign a Release of Information which allows for communication with specific individuals from the client’s Union, employer, 12-Step group, family member, friend, or other designated person.  This can assist with accountability and motivation towards recovery.
