The Essential Relapse Prevention Program (ERPP) is designed to meet the needs of clients who have successfully completed treatment for alcohol or drug dependency, typically following a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) Assessment. The ERPP ensures the client is establishing healthy patterns as part of their recovery. The program also helps employers meet there need to provide appropriate programming for employees whare are working in safety-sensitive or safety-critical areas.

The ERPP offers 2 years of support for clients over 20 sessions. Sessions begin weekly and become less frequent as the client becomes more skillful and settled in their recovery. The ERPP begins with the assessment phase whereby the counsellor will develop a treatment plan based on the client’s unique needs. The treatment plan is designed to help the client maintain abstinence and find success in their recovery.
